Archie is a typical 7 month old Dachshund puppy full of energy and loves to play with other dogs. He loves cuddles and will sit on your lap or beside you once you settle him down. He is crate trained and has been sleeping in our cage every night without any problems. He can use a doggie door and is happy to use the ramps but also likes to take the shortest way on and off the lounge if you let him. He will fetch items and is in training to return and release the toy for another toy.
He is also in training to stop at road crossings until instructed to cross. He does not bark in the house unless other dogs start barking so barking at home is not an issue. He will bark while walking if he sees another dog. He walks on a lead without any issues but being a puppy pulls but training can fix this.
He will make a lovely family dog and I cannot see any issues with children but of course we have not tested this. If a new owner already has a dog it needs to be of a similar age or very tolerant because of Archie’s age and playful nature.
De sexed, microchipped, C5 Vaccination Pro Heart annual injection, Bravecto and Worming and full Vet check as per our Policy.
