Axel – 1 yo small standard smooth Dachshund, chocolate ~12 kgs
Axel on first meeting people is a little shy and anxious. But after only a couple of days in foster care he has come out of his shell and is a playful, loving dachshund who will get attached to people and follow them around everywhere.
Axel will best be suited to a family with an existing dachshund or small breed dog – ideally female. Being only 1 yo, Axel loves to play with other similarly sized dogs. Axel is very wary of larger dogs. Kids are OK as long as they are respectful of his initial shyness. Axel is not used to walks and requires further training in this area.
Being an outside dog for most of his life, Axel’s toilet training needs further on-going work. Its best if he has convenient access to the outside.
Axel is desexed and up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick treatment and – apart from his weight – is in good overall health. Axel is somewhat overweight and could loose a kilogram or two.
Desexed, Fully vaccinated inc of Heartworm Annual injection, Bravecto 3 month, worming 3 month and fully Vet/Health checked as per our Policy.
