DAISY – RED SMOOTH FEMALE – APPROX 6 YRS 7.5KG *ON 2 WEEK TRIAL*
Daisy is a typical dachshund that loves cuddles and has to take up the most of the bed for cuddles.
Daisy is fairly quiet, although she will bark if there’s something around.
Daisy is obsessed with pet birds, jumping on the cage but does not seem to be interested in anything further but would not be suitable with access to chickens.
Daisy is in foster with 2 other dachshunds and is happy to play with them, but does show some typical dachshund aggression towards other dogs while out on her walks.
Daisy does suffer from separation anxiety so will need her human owner close, she could go with another calm laid back male dachshund however this will not overcome her anxiety of being left alone.
She certainly would be excellent companion on a 1 to 1 basis with retired person/s; where she will get the full attention of being an only dog.
Not tested with young children or cats but given the strong prey instinct this breed has would probably be unsuitable to cats.
De sexed, microchipped, housetrained, C5 and Heartworm yearly vaccination wormed and Bravecto (3 months) Dental and health checks as per our Policy.
