This little cutie needs to be the only Dachshund in the house and requires his owner to be firm and show him from the start who is boss!
He is very sweet and cuddly and would like nothing better to spend his days in the company of a human prepared to take on this energetic boy with a mind of his own.
Elliot is playful, loves hunting around in the garden, will bark but stops on command.
He does pull on the lead so will need extra training with that.
He seems ok with strangers however can be aggressive towards other dogs.
Elliot is currently being fostered with other dachshunds that he seems to get on with.
He has not been tested with cats, and as he loves to hunt anything that moves our recommendation would be no cat.
He is NOT suitable to young families with small children. Almost adult children should be ok.
