George Michael (or just George) – Almost 3 yrs old miniature smooth tan male Dachshund. ~7.6 kgs
Gorgeous George is just a delightful dachshund!
Once he gets to know people, George is an affectionate loving dachshund that loves being with people and other smaller dogs and loves being around children.
George will best be suited to a relatively active family with an existing dachshund. George is very active and loves his walks (harness recommended and supplied). He loves his cuddles on the couch and will sleep in his own dog bed (ideally in the owner’s or child’s bedroom) but does like the morning and evening cuddle on the big bed before settling down. George walks well on-lead and has reasonably good off-lead recall.
The biggest challenges with George are firstly he is not 100% toilet trained. While George has improved in the time he has been in foster care, a commitment and understanding of the need for ongoing toilet training will be required. He has been trained to use pee pads but its best if he has easy access to the outside. Secondly, George, while tolerate of larger dogs, will chase and bark at larger dogs in a dog park environment.
George is desexed and up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. He is in good overall health with good teeth.
De sexed, vaccinated inc Heartworm annual vaccination, Bravecto 3 month Flea/Tick, wormed and Fully Vet checked as per our Policy.
