Jimmy is a pocket rocket and at 11 months old, he won’t be slowing downany time soon. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, but will barkand is very nervous of strangers. However, once he knows you and is confident in your company, he loves to snuggle on your lap and give lots of kisses.
Jimmy is very energetic and loves to play with his foster siblings and needsplenty of space to run, chase and roll. He will need someone that is home a lot as he does, like many Dachshunds suffers separation anxiety when left alone.
Like all Dachshunds, Jimmy loves his food and his treats but sometimes doesn’t understand that not all food belongs to him.
Jimmy is currently in foster with 4 other dachshunds and will need a home with at least one other Dachshund to keep him company.
He also currently lives with 2 cats and is very good with them, but can take chase if they run; However, once he has caught up, the game is over and he wanders off.
Jimmy is doing well with his toilet training but it is still a work in progress especially if you are not consistent or if he is unsettled – which he may be initially in his new home. Jimmy loves the car and as soon as the door is open, he is ready to go.
Desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated inc of Proheart (Heartworm annual injection), Bravecto and worming and Fully vet checked as per our Policy.
