There’s nothing much about Border Collie in this young Lady except for her energy levels!
Looks like a Daxie, acts like a Daxie, although…slightly longer legs and is well house trained.
She is adventurous, likes to be the bossy boots and the Princess and would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
Yes to separation anxiety, yes to food driven, loves walking and walks well on lead with no aggression to other dogs when walking.
Lady is still a puppy at heart, needs someone to keep her in check, and show her who is boss, she loves attention and loves cuddles but does not like to be picked up.
Lady has a tendency to growl and snarl bearing her teeth as an intimidation tactic; she will mouth but not bite and takes a bit to understand this tactic, if this happens grab her by the lower jaw and a stern NO and let go.
If allowed on bed and couches without control such as telling her NO and calling her up she will think they belong to her – she needs some basic obidience training to sort that out.
She most probably will pick one person over another and growl and snarl as she thinks this is encroaching on her property; this is going to take a little bit of time and patience.
When feeding make her sit and wait until you allow her to eat.
She likes to swim and enjoys new challenges.
She is very lovely and once settled in will make a wonderful family member with time and training.
Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/tick worming and fully vet checked as per our Policy.
