Hi, I’m Lilly.
I might look small at just 7kgs, I am a miniature dachshund with a big personality.
I love chasing my squeaky toys and basking in the sunlight. After all, a sausage needs to cook!
While I enjoy an afternoon walk with my humans, my favourite place to be is at home snuggled up on the couch, or in bed snuggled up to you under the covers.
I am food obsessed so need someone who can make sure all edible snacks are up high out of my reach at all times. While that might sound like an easy task because of my height, never underestimate a dachshund’s determination!
Unfortunately, I can’t live with or be around children as I get extremely anxious and frightened, and will react in fear. For this reason, I would suit a retired person or couple who are experienced with dachshunds.
I’m not a social party animal as I prefer to stay home where I feel safe and comfortable with the people I know and love. I love routine and will remind you when it’s breakfast and dinner time.

Lilly would suit a retired couple with no children, where she would be the centre of their world.
She has lived with dogs and a cat, but takes a while to warm up to new animals.
