Mia is a loving 3 year old dog with a very gentle nature once she gets to know you and is receiving love from her owners. Mia will follow you from room to room as she needs to be in close contact at all times. She will growl at all strangers but this stops after about 15mins or so. She does become use to regular visitors from outside her home over time and can also be very loving to them. She came from an environment where she was the only dog but has accepted being with the 2 dachshunds of her foster carer so she can tolerate other dogs. Having said that she might be best suited to a home as the only dog.
She responds well to commands and has no food aggression. She likes to jump up onto beds but will get down when told to do so.
Mia does not bark excessively however is an excellent guard dog and will bark when someone comes to the door. She loves her walks each morning but shows fear when coming across larger dogs. This may change as she encounters more dogs on her walks. Mia is energetic and would need the daily walks to continue (currently she is walked 5 days a week). She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate every night after receiving her treat when going to bed.
Mia loves sitting next to her owners both male and female on the lounge and will sleep happily next to you with out licking just wanting the love and reassuring pats she craves for. She does use a ramp when available but will jump onto a lounge or bed if not available.
Desexed, Microchipped, Fully vaccinated inclusive of C5 and Heart worm yearly, Bravecto and Worming and Fully Vet checked as per our Policy.
