Little Murphy is adorable boy, who loves to be around you the whole time, as many dachshunds are Murphy suffers from separation anxiety and cannot tolerate being left home alone. His foster carers say he has improved since he has been with them since early January; they have visitors for a week and Murphy was very well behaved and friendly, he is like that with all visitors after the enthusiastic barking to start with has settled.
Murphy did not adjust to his former family due to their travelling to work 5 x 10hour weeks.
As gorgeous as he is he will need his human near to him, so if you are retired or work full time from home then this would be an excellent match.
Murphy is a beautiful soul that loves cuddles and attention.
Murphy is not good in a dog park situation, however walks well with his harness and loves his walks.
At present he is in the company of a 5 month female dachshund pup and loves playing with her; if he is going to be your centre of attention he would also do very well as an only young man devoted to his owner/owners.
In addition to that Murphy is very patient with children of all ages.
De Sexed, Microchipped, Vaccinations up to date and full vet history.
