What an adorable young man, he is timid and anxious and suffers from separation anxiety needing his owner at home most of the time.
When he gets to know you he is super affectionate and loves constant cuddles, coming from a home where he was very well looked after and loved, however he was not coping too well with young twins and such a busy household; so ideally he would best suit calm home with no other pets and older or no children where he can receive all the attention that dachshunds so seek.
He’s good on the lead and does not pull, likes to walk on the grass to do his business; he is very shy when he meets new people, loves a lap or the sofa or your bed!
He can bark at some dogs whilst out on the lead, will need to sleep in the same room as his humans due to his separation anxiety.
Slinky eats 2 meals a day and loves his little treats.
Slinky is very gentle with food, needs encouragement to play with toys, great in the car and loves to look out the window.
With time and affection Slinky will melt your heart and become a very great addition to the family.
De sexed, vaccinated inc Heart worm annual vaccination, flea tick, worming, and vet checked.
