Due to changes in owners living circumstances, this pair of beloved dachshunds are seeking a forever home. Frankie and Louie been cherished members of only one family for nearly eight years, and it breaks the owners hearts to make this decision. However, they believe it is in their best interest to find a loving environment where they can thrive with space to play and people around them.

Louie: Male Tan Midi Dachshund – DOB 24/7/2016

Louie is a gentle dachshund who enjoys both leisurely strolls where he can explore and socialise, as well as soaking up the sun with his fur sister Frankie by his side. His love for food is evident, but he maintains a healthy weight through scheduled meals without table scraps. Louie adores sitting on laps, snuggling in for warmth on chilly days, and is quite active in the garden, chasing after flies, birds, and bugs. He takes his role as a protector seriously, alerting his family to any potential intruders.
Having grown up with young children and bonded closely with Frankie, Louie thrives in a family environment where he can receive attention, exercise, and a variety of cozy spots to rest. His affectionate nature makes him an excellent companion, ideally suited to a household where he won't be left alone for long periods. Whether indoors or outdoors, Louie is content to accompany his family as they go about their daily activities.

Frankie: Female Black / Tan (Silver Dapple) Mini Dachshund – DOB 19/1/2017

 Frankie is a sweet old girl who shares a special bond with Louie, often staying close by his side. Despite her petite stature, she enjoys leisurely walks but will make it clear when she prefers to stay cozy in bed, pretending to be asleep.
Food is a great motivator for Frankie, and she adheres to a strict feeding schedule to maintain her optimal health and weight. She has a vocal way of letting you know when it's mealtime.
Unlike Louie, Frankie isn't fond of being picked up and isn't much of a lap dog. She tends to be reserved around strangers and may retreat to a quiet spot when the house is busy. However, with her family, she finds comfort in observing daily life from her favourite spot in her bed. Frankie is gentle by nature but will assert herself if she feels threatened by other dogs. Frankie has also grown up with young children.
Frankie delights in basking in the sun, following Louie around, and receiving affectionate pats. Her gentle and intelligent demeanour makes her a wonderful companion who thrives in a calm and loving environment.
