I’m a happy, healthy, active boy who absolutely adores my humans — especially when cuddles are involved. I love being close to my person and feel safest when I know where you are. I sleep soundly in my own bed right beside my human, and that’s exactly where I’m happiest.

I’m excellent with cats and really enjoy their company. I love playtime too, especially when tennis balls are involved — I’m a little obsessed, to be honest. Squeaky toys are another favourite, though I do prefer to keep my toys to myself and don’t enjoy sharing them. Because of that, I’d do best with someone who understands my boundaries around toys.

When I first meet new people or animals, I can be a bit cautious and territorial. I like to take things at my own pace — but once I feel safe, I warm up quickly and show my affectionate, loving nature.

I have great manners and know how to sit and wait for my food. I’m not food aggressive at all and take pride in being a very good student. Toilet training is still a work in progress, but I’m doing really well with only the occasional accident — I’d say I’m a solid 8/10 and improving all the time.

I do struggle with being alone and have moderate to high separation anxiety, but I’m slowly getting better with patience, routine, and reassurance. I’d really thrive with someone who works from home or is around most of the time, as long stretches alone aren’t easy for me.

I enjoy regular walks, lots of playtime, and having a predictable daily routine. Structure helps me feel calm and secure. A secure yard is important for my exercise and toilet breaks.

I’d flourish in a patient, understanding home where my person is committed to helping me continue my training and socialisation. I enjoy the companionship of cats and could live with them happily. If you’re looking for a dog to play constantly with another dog, I may not be the best fit — although with ongoing training and support, this may improve over time.
