Clyde is beautiful natured Dachshund that will totally steal your Heart.

He is a little shy to begin with, but once he feels safe he will become your best friend, he becomes totally devoted to his Humans!

He was with another Dachshund, but after splitting them, his whole personality has shone. He is smart, attentive , and is thriving in his Foster environment.
He’s living in a foster home with a pack of 9 Dachshunds and gets along wonderfully. 
He is submissive in his play with the other dogs, and has never shown aggression towards them.

Personality Highlights
 Affectionate – Loves cuddles and being close to his humans, like really close !
 Intelligent – Has all basic commands, sit, stay, wait
 Eager to Please – Responds well to structure, guidance, and lots of love
 Great Sleep Buddy – Sleeps soundly all night with his foster carer

Training Progress
 Toileting: Apart from some territorial marking in his new home, he does generally toilet well outside, but needs encouragement to go out in the wet and cold.
 Leash Training: Enjoys walks and off leash in a contained dog park, he does not stop running.
* He can though be quite reactive on leash to other dogs, so continued training and patience is needed here.

Exercise:
 Daily walks and zoomies in the backyard, he is very athletic, and goes all day!
 Loves playing chase with his foster siblings, although none can catch him :)

My Perfect Home will be in a loving, calm, and patient environment with someone who:

Has time to devote to his ongoing training and his confidence building
Understands and supports patience with all things NEW; offering structure, gentle
guidance, and plenty of snuggles.
He is Desexed, Fully vaccinated and wormed monthly.
Also full dental and Clean performed on the 04/08/2025 with no issues.

Clyde is truly a special soul—a gentle, very affectionate boy ready to bloom in the right home.
He loves Canine companions, so another Dachshund or small breed non dominant dog would be perfect.
Clyde is Untested with Cats.
