About Clyde
Clyde is a fiercely loya dachshund. His bright, curious nature makes him a delightful companion, and he's
already shown tremendous progress in his foster home alongside two dachshunds.
Personality Highlights
Clyde is a quick learner who responds instantly to his name and the "come" command, especially when
treats are involved! While he can be independent and enjoys exploring the yard on his own, he also loves
snuggling on the couch and sleeping in bed with his humans.
Current Training Progress
 House Training: Well on his way to being fully house trained, reliably using the yard during
daytime hours. Still needs some support with nighttime routines.
 Lead Skills: Enjoys walks and car rides but is working on reducing pulling during walks due to
his excitement. Clyde can be reactive to other dogs especially larger dogs.
 Social Skills: Making steady progress in meeting new people. Initially cautious but warms up with
patience and treats.
Daily Care
 Diet: Thrives on kibble, supplemented with homemade chicken. Pumpkin and sweet potato. He
also loves chicken neck and liver treats
 Exercise: Enjoys active playtime and regular walks
 Sleep: Settles well through the night when sleeping with family
 Behaviour: Clyde has some food aggression and while he loves the company of other dogs, he
can get a little cranky if they play too rough.
