Henry is such a sweet boy who has so much love to give. His favourite activities include snuggling up with his human, snuggling in his bed under blankets and going for his afternoon walk. 

Henry shows his affection through his cuddles and by licking. He is fully house trained (with a doggy door), but not crate trained. Henry has great off lead recall and loves running around, doing zoomies and loves a trip to the beach to run free. Henry thinks he makes a fantastic guard dog and like all other dachshunds, will bark at any stranger that comes to the door. 

Henry is completely fine with kids, however will need a home with older kids or no kids so that he can get all the attention that he needs and deserves. 

He is a fairly anxious boy and will need some time to adjust into his new home with his new humans. He will follow you around everywhere and loves to cuddle up on your lap when you're sitting on the couch. 

Henry like all dachshunds need their human around most of the time, small trips to shops and doctors are permitted!
So if you are looking for a great companion then he is your boy!
