I’m just a baby really!.  I have the most stunning colouring—my beautiful patches make me truly one of a kind. People always comment on how striking and pretty I am, and I know how to work my good looks for extra cuddles and treats!

I’m a classic dachshund: clever, spirited, curious, and full of character. I’m very food-motivated, which makes training fun and easy – my foster mom says I am easy to teach!! I love learning.

I already know how to sit on command. I also have perfect table manners at dinner time (even if I secretly hope for seconds). I am still practicing on the lead but will be a champ in no time!

I’m fully toilet trained and use the doggy door all by myself, even during the night. At bedtime, I go out for my last toilet break and then head inside to sleep—preferably in your bed because I love being close to my hoomans and foster fur family.

Some of my favourite things are sunbaking in the backyard and soaking up the warmth. Afternoons are great for zoomies and playing with with my foster sibling puppy. I love toys – especially ones I can de-stuff! Chasing balls is ok too, but cuddling on the lounge with you is my favourite activity.

I can be a little unsure when meeting new people and may bark at first, but once I’ve had gentle introductions, I relax and show my sweet, affectionate side. I really love attention and being part of the family – even little ones are ok but take me a little longer.

I would absolutely flourish in a home with another dachshund for company—I love my sausage dog friends and somebody home some of the time!
