About Me
Hi there! I’m Ziggy — a sweet, curious, energetic and friendly little dachshund with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. I’m the kind of girl who’ll happily curl up beside you, rest my head on your lap, and stay close no matter what you’re doing. I adore people and can’t wait to find my very own forever family to love me as much as I will love them.
I’m full of personality — bright, inquisitive, and just a little bit cheeky! I love exploring the garden, sniffing out new adventures, and playing chase with my two dachshund foster brothers. We have the best time together! A safe yard with a high fence would be perfect for me to explore without worry.
• House Training: I’m mostly reliable using a mat or going outside, though rarely, I still can forget.
• Lead & Commands: I get excited on walks and LOVE them. I have almost mastered not pulling a little, but I know my name and “come” — especially if treats are involved (greenies) are my favourite!
• Social Butterfly: I love meeting other dogs and people. I might bark at first, but it’s just my way of saying hello. Once I know you, I’m your best friend forever.
• Cats & Kids: I adore children and didn’t pay any attention to the outdoor cat at my foster home.
My Dream Home
I’d love a home where I can be part of everything. My ideal family would:
• Shower me with love and cuddles (I’ll happily return them all!).
• Keep me company — I’d really enjoy having another friendly doggy pal to play with.
• Give me structure and keep up my gentle training so I can keep learning and growing.
• Have a secure yard for my little adventures – there is just so much to do out there!.
A Day in My Life
I eat breakfast and dinner — a yummy mix of Ziwi Peak and Royal Canin. I love going for walks, exploring, and playing games. After a fun day, I sleep soundly through the night — I’m crate trained, but if you let me, I’d love to snuggle up close with you instead!
I’m a loving, loyal little girl who just wants to be someone’s special companion. My foster parents would keep me if they could!
