Ace is a 10-month-old red pure-bred dachshund who weighs 8.8kg.
Ace is a very intelligent young man who loves nothing more than running around and playing with his foster sisters, chasing toys or just cuddling up beside you as you read a book or watch telly. He has the most loving nature and would make a great companion and has shown tremendous progress in his foster home

Personality Highlights:
Ace is such a good boy and knows and practices commands such as sit and stay and wait. He loves his two foster sisters but can be a bit over the top with them as they are seniors and he is still a pup.
He does need durable toys because still being a pup, he chews a lot.

Current Training Progress:
House training: he is well on the way to being fully house trained. We put puppy pads down and he does his business on them if he cannot get outside in time.
Lead Skills: He enjoys his walks and car rides though he does pull on the lead but we are working on that.
Social Skills: He loves everyone he meets. Sometimes it takes a bit for him to stop barking.
Daily Care:
Diet: He loves his food especially his mince and veg at night. In the morning, he has dry food.
Exercise: He enjoys his walks and active playtime.
Sleep: He sleeps well of a nighttime when sleeping with family.
Behaviour: No food or toy aggression and shares well with other dogs.
Ace would be great in a home that offers
Patient owners that are home a lot of the time.
A calm and structured environment.
A secure yard for exercise and bathroom breaks.
An understanding that he needs time to warm up to new people.

When you first meet Ace he may seem a little timid, but he soon warms up to you.
