Meet Banjo & Poppy

These two little love bugs are a bonded pair and the very best of friends - 12 and 13 months - just babies.

Banjo is a sweet little shadow who loves nothing more than being by your side. Whether he’s following you from room to room, soaking up tummy rubs, or curling up for a cuddle, he’s happiest when he’s with his people.

Poppy is equally affectionate and believes every good day should include a warm lap, a cosy nap beside her favourite human, and a sturdy toy she can really get stuck into. She has a particular appreciation for robust toys that can withstand her enthusiasm.

Together, Banjo and Poppy are devoted companions who thrive with routine, company, and structure in their day. They love their food, enjoy the simple pleasures in life, and are looking for a home where they can feel safe, secure, and included as part of the family.

They enjoy exploring on their leads and are excellent at stopping to investigate every interesting smell along the way. Following recent changes in their lives, they can be a little nervous at times and will benefit from patient, gentle guidance to help them build confidence on walks. They’re learning that the world is a safe place and that meeting new people and dogs on their adventures can be a positive experience.

 We may appear a little standoffish when we first meet new people, but that’s simply because we’re taking our time to make sure everything feels safe. Once we realise you’re a friend, we warm up quickly and our affectionate, cuddly personalities shine through

As they settle into a new environment, white noise, music, or background TV can help mask unfamiliar sounds that may startle them. With kindness, consistency, and understanding, these two will continue to flourish. As foodies, these two enjoy receiving positive praises, pats and a little treat when they continue to nail and improve their house training.

At the end of the day, Banjo and Poppy’s greatest wish is simple: to be close to their people. If you’ll allow it, they’d be absolutely delighted to share a warm bed with you and spend their days as your loyal little companions.
