Meet Henry — A Sweet Sausage Dog Looking for His Perfect Home

Henry is an amazing little guy with an incredibly gentle and affectionate nature. He has zero aggression and is a total sweetheart who simply wants to be close to his person. He likes to sleep-in and snuggle with his humans.

Henry is happiest when he can follow his humans around, relax beside them and be part of their everyday life. He would be especially well suited to a retired couple, someone who works from home, or a household where someone is home most of the time.

· Currently working on his confidence and training

Henry does have separation anxiety, and his new family will need to continue helping him gradually become more comfortable being left alone. He is already being trained and would benefit from someone patient and willing to continue that work with him.

Currently, we leave Henry in our backyard if we are out for a couple hours. We heard from our neighbours that he did not bark much when we were away.

He is non-reactive at home when neighbours’ dogs bark, this is something that he is being trained on while with the fosterer. He isn't looking for a fight — he is zero aggression, good with children, cats and dogs.

Henry isn't looking for a busy or constantly changing lifestyle. His dream home is a quiet, loving home with people who have plenty of time for him. In return, you'll get an incredibly loyal little companion who just wants to love you and be by your side.
