Monty is the most sweet, loving, affectionate, and gentle soul you will ever meet.  

 He loves belly rubs, snuggling up to your feet and playing with the other dogs. His big fluffy paws makes him move around the house in uncanny silence, so much so that we’ve often lost track of him.  He’s a shy dog and takes a while to warm up to new people but he’s got a character that is hard to describe other than a “young gentleman”.

He not fond of very fast movements when they surprise him but loves to chase and be chased by the people and other dogs.  He’s great with the kids, cats and other dogs and has a very loud voice which he doesn’t use it often.  

Monty is not a very energetic but has a youthful energy.  He does not like being left alone for long periods of time.  He would do well in household where he has company, either human or other dogs.

Monty is not a dog to be left home alone, he needs the companionship of humans in his life, he suffers from anxiety home alone, even if in the company of another dog - please take that into consideration when applying for him; we will want him to have human company most of the day.
