Personality

Pablo’s super sweet, pretty chill, and kind of does his own thing. He loves hanging out on the couch but is always up for some playtime too. Sometimes he thinks every toy and treat is just for him, so watch out for a bit of guarding. Before walks, he gets really pumped—his tail starts wagging as soon as he sees his lead—but once you’re outside and on your way, he calms down fast. Walks are his favourite part of the day! Recall is still a work in progress. He has a particular fondness for belly rubs and enjoys unwinding in the bath.

Pablo loves company, especially his foster sister, and would totally enjoy having another dog around since he hates being left by himself. He’s a social guy and gets along great with people and other pups. He loves his human brothers, ages 3½ and 7, but would do best in a home with very calm children, as he can become overwhelmed and withdraw if things get too lively. He accepts treats with notable gentleness and consistently sits and offers his paw beforehand, demonstrating exemplary manners.

Current Training Progress

He’s got the daytime house training down but could use more help at night. Pablo knows how to chill out in his crate and usually settles overnight, though he'd rather snuggle up with his humans. At mealtime, it’s best to feed him separately, because he doesn’t like sharing his food with other dogs.

Diet

Pablo isn’t picky at all—he’ll eat anything you give him and sometimes tries to sneak bites from his foster sister’s bowl, too! 

Pablo is a one-of-a-kind companion—affectionate, easy-going, and full of charm. He brings so much joy and warmth to his foster family, and his loving nature shines through in everything he does.
