Meet Lucky!

7 month- black and tan male dachshund - 6.5kg

I'm a gorgeous, happy, goofy little guy with a huge zest for life. Of course, my favourite things are playing with toys (especially the fluffy ones—I consider removing the squeaker a personal achievement!), zooming around the yard, and playing chasey with my humans and my 3 other dachshund foster siblings and I'd absolutely love a home with a friendly energetic canine or three companion to keep me company.

At night, I'm a superstar in my crate. I'm fully crate trained and happily sleep through the night in my crate beside my siblings.

I'm still learning about car rides. They make me a little unsettled, but I'm getting more confident with every trip. Once we're out and about, I'm in my element! I walk beautifully on the lead, love meeting new people and other dogs, and I've never shown any aggression. I just love everyone and everything.

Because I'm still a young pup, I have lots of energy and would thrive with an active family who can give me plenty of exercise, playtime and love. I already know how to sit on command and usually come when I'm called, but I'd really enjoy continuing my training—it'll be a great way for us to bond and I am pretty smart so really enjoy learning!

I'm using the doggy door and am mostly toilet trained, and with a little consistency I'll have that mastered in no time.

When the adventures are over, my favourite place to be is curled up beside you on the couch for cuddles. I'm loyal, affectionate and always ready to make you smile.

Oh, and food? Well, let's just say I'm a true Dachshund—I love absolutely everything! Mealtime is one of my favourite parts of the day.
