Toey is a very energetic dog who loves to play and run around and play fetch. Toey loves to show affection by licking.

He has already shown tremendous progress in his foster home alongside two dachshund males.

Personality Highlights

Toey is a quick learner especially when his ball or treats are involved! While he can be independent and enjoys exploring the yard on his own, he also loves snuggling on the couch and sleeping in bed alongside his bestie Tucker. He's particularly fond of tennis balls and playtime, though he needs durable toys due to his enthusiastic chewing habits.

Current Training Progress

House Training: A work in progress. They regularly go outside but sometimes accidents happen if the door is closed.He uses the yard during daytime hours but needs some support with nighttime routines.

Lead Skills: Enjoys walks and car rides and sometimes pulls during walks due to his excitement.

Social Skills: Making steady progress in meeting new people - initially cautious but warms up with patience and treats. Currently working on reactions to other dogs during outings.

Daily Care:

Diet: Thrives Chicken & Rice Small Breed Dog Food
Exercise: Enjoys active playtime and regular walksSleeps and settles well through the night when sleeping with his brother Tucker

Behaviour: No food or toy aggression, shares well with other dogsTucker can get anxious around new people but definitely is a very calm dog and is very comfortable around you when he knows you. 

He loves to sit in the sun getting belly rubs and is the type of dog to just chill with you on the couch as long as his brother Toey is close by.

Tucker is very close to Toey and will wait patiently for him wherever he is. 

They share the same food bowl and will always share a bone at the same time. They are very affectionate towards each other and are almost inseparable.
