Arlo is a handsome & cheeky 2 year old dachshund who is full of beans. Since coming into foster, he's been finding his feet as he gains confidence and learns his manners. 

He has bonded with the foster carer's family and always seeks out an opportunity to snuggle up on the couch with family or grab a tummy rub but knows demanding behaviours don't get you what you want. Arlo has been learning to socialise with the carer's fur family & enjoys playing rumbles with the gentle border collie buddy each day. 

He's come a long way in learning how to navigate the world & while he mostly gets that good manners equals the good stuff, he's still a work in progress. He happily sleeps in his crate each night & will use his safe space to relax in when he needs a little nap. We wish we got daytime naps too! (Adulting is hard work)

He would benefit from a family committed to continuing his training and guiding him as he learns about the world & keep learning his canine manners. Respectful kids over 10yo would suit this little chap's wishes. Toddlers & babies are not his jam. Me too little weiner, me too. 

He would suit a home with company, either a human or another well mannered dog. If in a single dog household, setting up enrichment activities would help keep Arlo's brain busy & happy.
