Some chase trouble.

Roxy chases lizards. 🦎😂

Give this little black and tan beauty a backyard, a patch of sunshine and a few suspicious looking bushes and she’ll happily spend her day patrolling for tiny reptilian intruders.

But when her very important security shift is over?

She’s coming inside for cuddles. ❤️

Roxy is the perfect little dachshund for a family with little people to love. She absolutely adores children and would happily become their tiny shadow following them outside for adventures, curling up beside them for quiet time and sneaking under the blankets when the day is done.

She’s gentle, affectionate, beautifully behaved and somehow missed the dachshund meeting where they were all told to develop selective hearing. 😂

Call Roxy? She comes.
Dinner time? She sits beautifully.
Treats? Suddenly she’s employee of the month.🏆

But don’t worry she’s still very much a dachshund.

Blankets must be burrowed under.
Beds are obviously for sharing.
Toes occasionally require tiny love nibbles.
And every lizard in the backyard is considered highly suspicious. 🦎

Roxy isn’t a girl who needs to be entertained every second of the day. She’s a lover more than a player. Her favourite place is simply wherever her humans are.

She loves children, dogs and even cats, because Roxy’s approach to life is pretty simple:

If you have a heartbeat, there’s a good chance she’d like to love you. ❤️

She’s toilet trained, enjoys her kibble and Prime100 roll, and once a week life becomes EXTRA exciting when the sardines and little dollop of Greek yoghurt appear. Apparently fine dining is very important when you’re 7.5kg of sophistication. 😂

And when you walk through the door?

Prepare yourself.

The whole Roxy starts wagging.

Her little body wiggles, the happy whimpers begin and she greets you like you’ve been missing for approximately seven years even if you only popped down the road.

When her family does need to go out, Roxy is beautifully content settling into her crate  her own safe little den where she can snooze until her favourite people return.

Roxy doesn’t need the biggest house.

She doesn’t need the fanciest things.

She just needs little people to adore, a backyard to explore, lizards to investigate, blankets to burrow beneath and a family who will choose her forever.

Because behind those little legs is one enormous heart.

And Roxy is ready to give the whole thing away. 🖤
