Hi, I’m Armani, and as my name suggests, I’m a little bit special.

If you’re looking for a bright, affectionate little companion who will happily join in with family life, I could be the girl for you.

I’m an intelligent, playful dachshund who combines a lovely independent streak with plenty of affection. My curious nature means I love being involved in whatever my humans are doing — whether that’s gardening, relaxing on the couch, or playing in the yard with my doggy friends.

I’ve been living in foster care with two dachshund sisters and a big Bull Arab brother, and I’ve been doing wonderfully.

My Personality

I’m a loving and engaging companion who enjoys being close to my people. I know some basic commands like sit and wait, and I absolutely adore couch time — especially if there’s a cosy blanket involved.

I’ll happily play with the other dogs in the yard, but I always keep an eye on my humans to make sure they’re nearby. And if you let me, I do love the occasional under-the-covers cuddle in bed.

  • House trained – I use the doggy door to go outside
  • At night I’ll wake you if I need a toilet break
  • Great on the lead and enjoy walks and car rides
  • Friendly with people and children once properly introduced
  • I may bark at strangers at first, but I settle quickly once I know they’re safe
  • I enjoy playtime in the yard or going for walks
  • I sleep well overnight in my crate
  • I share toys and food nicely with other dogs
