About Dre & Bruno

Dre and Bruno are two sweet, affectionate dachshunds looking for a family to call their own. They love being around people and are happiest when they’re included in everyday life, whether that’s going for a walk, playing in the yard, or relaxing on the couch.

Dre is the more playful of the two and absolutely loves his ball. Fetch is his favourite game and he’ll happily play whenever given the chance. Bruno is a little more laid-back and loves nothing more than curling up in your lap on the couch for a cuddle.

Both boys are active, intelligent, and eager to please. They have settled well into their foster home and have shown they can learn new things very quickly.

Training & Behaviour

• House trained• Crate trained and happily go to bed when directed and sleep through the night• Know the “sit” command • Have learned to use stairs to get onto furniture safely• Lead trained and love going for walks, although they can pull a little when excited• No food or toy aggression• Get along extremely well with each other and share food, toys, and space without any issues

Social Skills

Dre and Bruno enjoy meeting new people, although they can be a little excited at first. Once they’ve had a chance to say hello, they settle quickly and love attention.

They are generally good with other dogs and enjoy seeing them on walks, though they can sometimes get excited and curious when passing by.

Daily Care

Diet: Black Hawk Adult Lamb & Rice Dry Food

Exercise: They enjoy daily walks, playtime, and being involved in family activities.

Their Ideal Home

Dre and Bruno would suit a home where they can receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship. They thrive with routine and would benefit from a family willing to continue reinforcing their training and giving them regular exercise and enrichment.

They would do best in a home that can provide a consistent routine and plenty of interaction, as they love being around their people and are happiest when included in family life.
