Hi, meet Snoop!

 Snoopy is a very clever, playful and cuddly boy who loves to play with his toys, he will even entertain himself with his toys without expecting you to play all the time.

Snoop is obedient and will stay, but not sit at this stage.  He would be easily trained as he is young and eager to please.

He loves breakfast and dinner time and will eat most things put in front of him.  He loves raw carrots as well as most other puppy foods.

All in all Snoopy is the perfect Dachshund, and incredibly obedient for a young boy.  He is an absolute delight to have around and thrives on love, cuddles, walks, toys, companionship with humans and other friendly dogs.

 Personality Highlights

Snoop sleeps right through the night with no issues. He plays well with other Dachshunds however, it may take him a day or two to warm to them.  Once he trusts them he will play beautifully.

He has no anxiety or separation issues and is happy to be left alone for a few hours.  However, he would like the company of another Dachshund.

As you can see by his pics he is good with kids of all ages.

Current Training Progress

 House Training: Snoopy is house trained but has had the odd accident.  This mostly happened when he was getting used to the doggie door, something he is now confident with.

 Lead Skills: Snoop is a dream on the lead and loves his walks.  He is not aggressive and doesn't even bark at other dogs.

 Social Skills: Snoop is hesitant at first when meeting new people, and is a little shy.  Once he has warmed to them he is fine.  Definitely no aggression, a little fearful if anything.  This soon passes.

 Daily Care

 Diet: Snoop will eat just about anything put in front of him.  Loves water and milk

 Exercise: Enjoys active playtime and walks

 Sleep: Settles well through the night and sleeps in own bed

 Behaviour: No food or toy aggression

 Snoop would flourish in a home that offers:

 A loving environment but he is not attention seeking.  He is happy to be with you but also loves being outside in the sun on his own

 Canine companionship, as he enjoys the company of other dogs

 A secure yard for exercise and bathroom breaks

 Understanding that he needs time to warm up to new people and environment

Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/tick and vet checked as per our Policy.
