 We're a bonded pair of dachshunds who have been by each other's side since the beginning and through everything, and If your home could use double the cuddles, double the laughs, four very short legs, and two hearts full of love, we'd love to meet you.

 We promise to fill your days with companionship, your couch with dachshunds, and your blankets with mysterious sausage-shaped lumps and who love us as much as we love each other and our resident humans!  We're the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and curious sausages.

 I'm Charlie, the outgoing one. I love playing with my sister and foster brother, zooming around the yard, tossing toys in the air, and making sure everyone knows when it's time for fun. I'm quite independent, but when playtime is over you'll usually find me burrowed under a blanket on the couch or tucked into bed beside my people. Like any self-respecting dachshund, I also like to supervise household activities and follow my humans from room to room... purely for quality control purposes. Definitely not because snacks might appear.

 I'm Dash, the quieter half of this duo. I like to take life at my own pace and prefer quality cuddles over chaos. I love playing with Charlie, but once I've had enough excitement, you'll find me curled up on the couch beside my people. One of my favourite jobs is waking everyone up each morning with gentle kisses. It's important work, and I take it very seriously.

 Charlie says favourite things are:

  • Toys. All the toys.
  • Treats. Especially treats.
  • Cuddles.
  • Playing with my sister.
  • Being involved in absolutely everything.

Dash says favourite things are:

  • Warm blankets.
  • Couch cuddles.
  • Belly rubs.
  • Being close to my humans.
  • Avoiding cold, wet weather whenever possible.

We're both doing well with our house training and pretty much there!

Charlie uses puppy pads confidently while the humans are at work and happily heads outside when he has access to the yard.

Dash also uses puppy pads very reliably. Personally, I think rain is highly overrated and prefer to stay warm and dry whenever possible. Surely that's just good decision-making?

 We're still learning our lead manners because the world is full of exciting sights, smells, birds, leaves, sticks, and other important dachshund business. When meeting new dogs, Charlie warms up fairly quickly. Dash prefers a more polite introduction and appreciates dogs who understand personal space. If another dog rushes into her bubble too quickly, she'll politely let them know she'd like a little room.

We thrive on playtime and regular walks; plenty of toys, quality couch time; sleeping close to our family. We're both gentle dogs with no food or toy aggression and happily share our things with other dogs.
