Nala: A special little Queen like my namesake

I may be small, but I have a big personality and an even bigger heart. My foster family calls me a little pocket rocket because I'm always on the move, exploring the garden, investigating new smells, and keeping a close eye on my people. Wherever you go, you'll usually find me right behind you!

As my name suggests, I like to think I'm the queen of the jungle (house). I’m quite happy to claim the best spot on the couch, stretch out on your bed, and slowly take over your heart too. When I'm not supervising household activities, you'll find me helping in the garden, soaking up the sunshine, or curled up under a cosy blanket.

I love my daily walks and walk beautifully on lead. Every outing is an adventure, and I always seem to find something interesting to sniff. Car rides are another favourite of mine, especially if they lead somewhere exciting.

When I first meet new people, I can be a little shy and cautious. I like to take my time getting to know you, but once I trust you, I become incredibly loyal and loving. If you're lucky enough to be one of my people, you'll have a devoted little shadow who wants to be part of everything you do.

I know basic commands like sit and wait, and I'm fully house trained. I use the doggy door to take myself outside when I need to go, and if I'm sleeping inside at night, I'll let you know if I need a toilet break.

I get along best with calm, passive male dogs. My Bull Arab foster brother is one of my favourite companions, but I do like to be in charge and can be a bit bossy so a male furry friends a must. Really though, my favourite company is my humans. I love being close to my people and would much rather spend time with you than be left alone for long periods.

My perfect home would have:
• A gentle, non-dominant male dog companion
• People who are home more often than not
• A secure yard where I can explore, play and sunbake
• A comfy couch (and maybe a bed) for snuggles
• A family that understands I need a little time to warm up before showing my affectionate side
