Hello darlings… I’m Scarlett or Lala if you prefer nicknames and a perfectly petite girl with the sweetest face and beautiful soulful eyes. Just like my namesake from Gone With the Wind, I’m a classic lady with plenty of charm, a little drama, and a whole lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will adore you, follow you everywhere, and fill your days with love, personality and the occasional zoomie… I might just be the perfect girl for you.
I absolutely adore my humans. Cuddles, attention and being close to my people are my favourite things in the world. I’m a very affectionate girl and I love giving little dachshund kisses to remind you how much I care. I can be a bit of a velcro dog, but that just means you’ll always have a loyal little shadow following you around the house. You are my safe space.

When you head out, I might have a tiny cry at first because I’ll miss you, but once I settle in with my small doggy friends, I’m quite happy to relax and wait for you to come home. And when you do… oh the excitement! I’m always thrilled to see my people again.
I enjoy the company of small dogs with calm or similar personalities like mine. Very bouncy young dogs can be a bit much for a refined lady like me, and big dogs really aren’t my cup of tea. I still need a little work on a lead – tend to get a bit excited, but with some practice, I am sure I will ace it!

I’m a clever girl too. I already know commands like sit and stay, and I enjoy learning new things if there are treats or praise involved. I love exploring the yard, having the occasional burst of zoomies, and every now and then you’ll find me happily sunbaking like the little queen I am. I am very good at going outside for bathroom breaks but will need the door open or learn how to use a doggie door.

In the mornings I am quite vocal about being let out …just a reminder for you.
When it comes to meeting people, I’m very friendly and adore attention. Sometimes I get so excited that I might do a little excited wee when saying hello — but that’s just because I’m so happy to meet you and a little shy in the beginning!
At home, I’m a cosy little dachshund who loves the comforts of indoor life. My favourite place is snuggled in my bed under a blanket, warm and safe near my humans. I even love bath time, which makes me quite the easy girl to care for.
Storms can make me a little nervous, but if I can cuddle up under a blanket close to my people, I feel much braver.

Overall, I’m a sweet, affectionate, slightly clingy, and very loving little dachshund who thrives on companionship and cuddles. My perfect home would be calm where someone is home more often than not, would include me in their life and have at least one best fur friend.
