A 9-months old and very cheeky red, long haired Mini Dachshund weighing 6.5kg

I love nothing more than playing and snuggling with my foster mates, Dachshunds; Chihuahua; Pomeranian and Maltese. Especially the long hair girl!  I think that little Chihuahua runs the household though, as he puts me in my place when I get a bit too naughty or into his face. After all I am a typical puppy/teenager, a little naughty with lots of energy but always up for cuddles and puppy kisses.

I know my name, and I come most of the time when called (especially if treats are involved!). I can sit nicely and I’m very food motivated—yum! I adore my toys, but I’m also a curious pup who might chew anything I can reach (including your socks), so puppy-proofing is important.

Daily Care

I currently get fed twice a day and really love my food, so I need to be fed separately and my foster mum feeds me in a large crate so I can’t try to get into any of the other food bowls.

I think she wants to crate train me, but to be honest I don’t like being in there.

Exercise & routine:L

My foster mum needs to brush my long hair, so I don’t get many knots, and I am slowly getting used to it.

I will need a secure yard to keep me safe. I’m house trained, but I do have little accidents, especially when it is raining outside as I am not quite sure about the doggie door as yet and I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I feel comfortable, I turn into a social butterfly with a big heart and lots of love to give.

I’m an intelligent, playful puppy who loves to learn and I am ready for a patient, loving family who can continue my training and help me become the best boy I can be. Even though I had a few months as an only dog in the house, I would really like another brother or sister to play with and snuggle up to when you go out as I am known to bark a little for attention.
